the Celtics played the Cavaliers Sunday evening, and we were both expecting it to be a close run, you know, it being the 1 and 2 spot teams in the East and all. however, the Celtics got rumbled. it wasn't even that close at all, at any point during the game. now, the Celtics still don't have Kevin Garnett and that's something of note, but i think that the problem lies elsewhere: in the people that they have recently picked up before the trade deadline.
Stephon Marbury is playing like straight up crud. i mean, maybe it's the fact that he hasn't really played in some time, and more so had to buy tickets to his own team's games, but even if that is his excuse what are the returning NBA champions doing getting someone with a nasty star tat on their head?
maybe their hoping for a repeat of these good ol days, but c'mon, i don't see Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning getting back together.another great pick is the lanky rastafarian, Mikki Moore. he just ain't right. plus, that kind of looks like a girl's name.
i mean, hopefully having Garnett back for the playoffs will make a difference or something, because it'd be a shame to see the Celtics go to a team like, i don't know, the Pacers.
but LeBron James is unreal.
